Shirley Autore Obituary

Shirley Joan Autore, 81, known as “Pearl” to her family, of Jacksonville passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was born in Pavo, GA and moved to Jacksonville, FL as a young girl.

She loved being a grandmother and enjoyed spoiling her grand and great grandchildren. She was also an integral part of her nieces and nephews’ lives. She enjoyed keeping house, working in the yard and gardening and caring for her family. She loved watching the birds and ducks in her yard.

Mrs. Autore was predeceased by her husband, Earl J. Autore; a granddaughter, Ashley R. Taylor and a sister, Juanita Enter.

Survivors include two daughters, Melinda J. Taylor (Don) and Melissa Moore (Chris), all of Jacksonville; a sister, Vivian Geiger (George) of Yulee, FL; four grandchildren, Brandon Taylor (Lori), Chase Taylor, Turner Moore and Amanda Dimaria (Mark); five great grandchildren, Kaylee, Gavin, Logan, Bailey and Dominic; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the graveside.
