AYERS - Ronnie O. Ayers, Sr., 68, of Yulee passed away July 15, 2016 at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.
Mr. Ayers was born July 30, 1947 in Russellville, AL and moved to Yulee, FL 13 years ago from Memphis, TN.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps during the Tet Offensive.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margaret Ayers; four children, Ronnie Ayers, Jr., Michael Hobbs, Kevin Hobbs and Jessica Shupein; two brothers, Jim Ayers and Ken Ayers; and five grandchildren.
There will be a private gathering of his family and friends to honor his life.
