Roma F. Norris

Roma F. Norris, 81, of Yulee passed away Saturday morning, March 2, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach.

Ms. Norris was born April 14, 1937 in an area of Yulee known as Chester and was a life-long resident of the area.  She was a member of Blackrock Baptist Church.  She loved to cook and enjoyed gardening and sewing.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Ms. Norris was predeceased by her husband, Donald Hamilton; her parents, Sidney A. and Geneva Bennett Freeman; and by her seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Winton Brett Norris (Tara) of Yulee, FL; her daughter, Rhonda N. Hutchison of Fernandina Beach, FL; grandchildren, William Hutchison, Winton Hutchison, Brittany Turner, Brooke Turner, Justin Norris, Julia Norris and Jacob Deen; a great grandchild, Eli Hutchison; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Betty Benton.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Chester Cemetery.
