Ralph "Skip" MIlls

Ralph “Skip” Mills, 74, formerly of Fleming Island, FL passed away Saturday morning, July 24, 2021 at the Clyde E. Lessen Veterans Nursing Home in St. Augustine, FL.

Skip was a member of Crossroads Lutheran Church of Fleming Island.  He was a Stephen Minister and a Stephen Minister instructor.  He was very active in Advent Lutheran and Crossroads Lutheran Churches.

Skip loved his Lord and his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph H. Mills, Sr. and Shirley Wahl Mills; and by a great nephew, Dylan Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Debbie “Deb” Mills; a son, Dan Mills (Denise); a brother, Charles “Chuck” Mills (Jennifer); sister in law, Donna Gentry (David); two grandchildren, Daniel, Jr. and Kennedy; and nephews, Christopher Mills, Connor Mills and Bert Williams, Jr.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy. Those attending should arrive 30 minutes early in lane number 2.  All attending are required by the National Cemetery to wear masks.
