Lisa (Williams) Deringer, 57, of Callahan went home to be with her LORD on March 23, 2020.
Lisa was born in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Callahan two years ago from Fernandina Beach where she and her family had made their home since 1991.
She was a member of The Journey Church where she was involved with multiple ministries including the Safety Team, Food Pantry, Sisterhood, Small Group and Community Groups.
Lisa was a selfless person – always thinking of others before herself. She was a beacon of light who would light up a room when she entered. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved being with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved and was devoted to her LORD, JESUS.
Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Charles Deringer; two sons, Jason Deringer and Chance Deringer and his fiancé, Megan Sweet; her parents, Ronald and Joenette (Mama Jo) Williams; her brother, Michael Williams; three grandchildren, Shelby, Kolton and Jenson; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and church family.
A private viewing and celebration of her life will be held in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Pastor Daryl Bellar officiating. Though the service is private, a video will be live-streamed for those who would like to attend remotely by logging onto https://www.facebook.com/greenpinefuneral/.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Journey Church Food Ministry. Authentic Impact at http://www.authenticimpact.com/give
