Lina G. Miller “Meemaw,” 86, of Yulee, passed away December 19, 2021. She was born April 15, 1935, in New York and moved to Yulee from Jacksonville FL in 1980.
Meemaw was a great Christian woman who loved God and people. She wasn’t ashamed to tell someone that she loved them or to tell them about the saving power of her precious Lord Jesus Christ. Quite often she would give tokens of that love.
Her mother and father, Hillard and Ethel Wagner, raised her to be a fine young woman. She was a wonderful wife to Harrell Miller (deceased); the mother of 6 children, (Pam, Timmy and Neal already in heaven), Vicki (Bobby) Drury, Bonnie (Bobby) Wylie and Karen (William) Moses.
She was a great mother and mother-in-law, a grandmother of 22 grandchildren, a great grandmother of 38 children and great, great, great grandmother of 13 children, a brother Harry (Laura) Wagner, a sister and brother in heaven (Carol & Bobby); many in-laws, much family, many, many nieces and nephews, and many friends.
She was a faithful member of Liberty Baptist Church of Callahan, Florida. She loved her Lord, Pastor, Church and her bible.
There have been many faithful warriors of many different kinds through the years, but Meemaw was a faithful prayer warrior that really reached heaven. Many warriors have stormed and opened many gates, but Meemaw through prayer opened Heaven’s door by faith.
Paradise (where Meemaw is now) is an ancient word for a beautiful garden. Meemaw can surely enjoy her love for flowers and plants now and most of all her love for the Sweet Rose of Sharon, (Jesus Christ) the sweetest flower in Paradise.
Even in Meemaw’s darkest days of sickness she expressed a joy that was obvious of The Holy Spirit fullness, she will be greatly missed down here below, for our dear sweet Meemaw has passed from suffering to Glory.
The family would like to extend its deepest appreciation to Community Hospice for the kind, comforting and compassionate care for Meemaw in her last days on Earth.
Meemaw’s request was no flowers. Please send any donations to Liberty Baptist Church of Callahan Fl, 55045 Mt Olive Rd Callahan, FL 32011.
