Bonnie Jayne O’Keeffe, 66, passed on from this life Wednesday morning, April 8, 2020 at her Yulee, FL residence with her family by her side.
Bonnie was born in Cranston, RI and moved to Yulee in 2009 from Warwick RI. She earned her bachelors degree from the University of Rhode Island. Before moving to Florida, she was an event planning manager with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, Cranston, R.I.
Bonnie loved to express her artistic creativity working with leather and designing and manufacturing silver jewelry. She enjoyed participating in Arts & Crafts Shows and most of all was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter W. and Edna Auten Blackinton a brother, Bruce Blackinton; and a sister Beth Lourenco.
Survivors include her husband, David O’Keeffe of Yulee, FL; her son Steven Crum (Gretchen) of Warwick, RI; a step-daughter, Torunn Labella and partner, Sean Clement of Cape Coral, FL; and a brother, Barry Blackinton (Jodi) of China, ME.
A ceremony celebrating Bonnie’s life will be held at a future date. Date and time will be announced.
