Sybil Parker Obituary

Sybil Elaine Parker, 72, of Yulee passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019.

She was born October 22, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Yulee in 2013 from Palatka, FL. She was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Parker loved gardening, listening to rock music, watching comedies and being a mom as well as a foster mom to every child that needed a safe and loving home.

Mrs. Parker was predeceased by her parents, Elmer C. and Thelma Sheppard; and two sisters, Sylvia "Tibby" Wingate and Jeannie Woods.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Tommy Parker of Yulee, FL; her children, Theresa Welsh (Jim) of Aurora, IL, Deborah Krause (David) of Naperville, IL, Stephanie Wagnon of Yulee, FL, Kimberly Simon (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL, Justin Parker of Yulee, Raymond Parker (Bryana) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Kristopher Parker of Orlando, FL and Kristy Davenport (Dale) of Lawndale, NC; 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Baber officiating.
