Winona "Winnie" Wagner

Winona “Winnie” Wagner, 82, passed away July 29, 2025.  She was born in Indianapolis, IN, and moved to Fernandina Beach 10 years ago from El Cajon, CA.

She was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from the Department of Defense.  She was of the Catholic Faith.

She was predeceased by four brothers and a sister. 

Survivors include three brothers, Richard Wagner (Betty), Scott Wagner (Susie) and Shelby Wagner; three sisters, Barbara O. Lee (Weldon), Bonnie (Sam) and Shelly Wagner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Wagner was an avid Bingo player.  She enjoyed playing at the Lions Club in Yulee and The American Legion in Fernandina Beach.  She was a charitable person always giving to those in need.
