William T. “Terry” Walker, Jr.

William T. “Terry” Walker, Jr., 44, of Fernandina Beach, FL. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 8, 2022.  He was the son of William T. Walker, Sr. and Sherrie D Cole and was a native of Savannah, GA.  He moved to Fernandina Beach fifteen years ago having previously lived in Savannah, Marietta (GA), Texas and California.  

Terry was well known from having worked in several Fernandina Beach restaurants over the years as a server and bartender. He loved his family, fishing, and the University of Georgia Bulldogs. 

He is predeceased by his sons Taige Walker (1995) and Payden Walker (2021) as well as his maternal grandparents Jack and Janice Hancock (2001, 2002). 

Survivors include his father William T. Walker Sr., and wife Wendy Walker of Savannah, GA., Mother Sherrie D. Cole and husband Douglas A. Cole of Fernandina Beach, FL., and three brothers - Travis Walker, Matthew Walker, and Brian Walker as well as his daughter Montana Walker. He is also survived by his paternal Grandmother Joan Parker, Great Aunt Brenda Boddiford and several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held at Green Pine Cemetery, 96281 Green Pine Rd, Yulee, FL 32097, on Thursday January 13, 2022.  Public viewing at 10:00 with funeral service in the Chapel at 11:00 followed by a burial on site.
