William Keith Osborne Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Keith Osborne, 72, of Fernandina Beach, FL on August 15, 2025, from a long battle with dementia. Born in Johnson City, TN in 1953, Keith had a life rich in joy and love, and his presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Keith was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and those who survived him will carry on his memory with strength and love. His wife Nadine Osborne, whom he married in 1973, always stood by his side, both in times of joy and hardship. His son Kyle Osborne, and his daughter Rachel Kennedy (Norman), always looked up to their father with admiration and respect. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughters: Alexa, Lauren and Addison Kennedy, who will always cherish the loving bond they shared with their Papa.

He was predeceased by his parents, William H Osborne (Bill), and Wanda A Osborne. Drawing strength from their memory, he cultivated strong family values that he passed down to his next generations.

In 1958, Keith moved to Fernandina Beach, FL. Some of his fondest memories were growing up on the beach where he loved to surf, fish, windsurf, and go sailing. He also loved the summers he spent in East Tennessee visiting his grandparents on their farms.

Keith graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1971 and married Nadine, the love of his life, in 1973. He worked for WestRock for over 47 years before retiring at the end of 2019. Melding his professional and personal life, Keith always ensured a balance that nurtured both his career and his family.

Keith loved baseball, and he spent his leisure time golfing. He believed in the power of quality time and cherished every moment spent with his family and his grandchildren. His favorite vacation spots were Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Hawaii, and all these places hold fond memories of the wonderful times he spent there.

Keith's personality shone through as a caring, loving friend to many. He was a presence that added joy and warmth to every occasion, and his spirit will never be forgotten. Keith leaves a legacy of love and kindness for his family and granddaughters, which will always shine in their hearts and keep his memory alive.

Though his physical presence may not be amongst us anymore, Keith’s spirit will forever be a part of the lives he touched. His laughter, love, and wisdom will echo through the lives of his loved ones and provide them with comfort during these trying times.

Honoring his wishes, there will be no services.
