William G. Chichekian

William G. Chichekian, 92, of Yulee, FL passed away Saturday morning, February 15, 2020 at the Community Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.

Mr. Chichekian was born in Jamestown, NY and moved to Yulee in 1968 from the Detroit, MI area.  He was a 1954 graduate of the University of Detroit, Michigan School of Architecture and was a WWII veteran serving with the U. S. Army.  Mr. Chichekian was an avid photographer and a member of the Jacksonville, FL Camera Club with whom he won many awards.  He loved cameras and restoring his Classic MG.

He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth I. Chichekian who passed away in 2019.

Survivors include two daughters and sons in-law, Rhona and Cliff Schroeder of Imlay City, Michigan and Marina Joy and Robert Weir of Colorado Springs, CO; a brother, Norm Chichekian of Northville, MI; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many special friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, at Green Pine Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by the U. S. Army.  Mr. Chichekian will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
