Wayne Stellmach, 72, passed away July 14, 2026, at his Yulee residence.

Wayne was born in Fernandina Beach and was a life-long resident of the area.  He was a longtime member of Community Baptist Church where was involved with the music ministry and assisted with the food pantry.

He retired from the U. S. Army with 23 years service and was a Vietnam Veteran.  After retiring from the military he was employed by Walmart where he also retired.

He was predeceased by wife, Beverly Stellmach, and his parents, Richard and Alma Stellmach.

Survivors include his loving companion, Joyce Bowman; his stepbrother, Robert Haddock (Kim); two stepsisters, Teresa Voss (Al) and Sheila Jones (John); and his two nieces, Ella and Maggie.

Wayne was a lifelong musician.  He loved his church and was always willing to help those in need.  He loved sharing a meal with his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Community Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 24.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.  Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery
