Timothy "Tim" O'Connor

Timothy “Tim” O’Connor, 55, of Yulee passed away Sunday evening, July 12, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach.

Tim was born in Queens, NY and moved to Yulee 18 years ago from Clearwater, FL.  He was of the Catholic Faith.  Tim was an aircraft mechanic and was employed by UPS for over 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Denese O’Connor; a daughter, Anna O’Connor; two step-sons, Tony Kirkus, Jr and Joshua Kiirkus; four brothers, Neil O’Connor, John O’Connor, David O’Connor and Jim O’Connor; a sister, Eileen OConnor; and a granddaughter, Kelsea Kirkus.

Tim loved mechanical hobbies, especially working on his Mustang.  He also enjoyed scuba diving.  He was known as a joker and enjoyed telling stories of his travels to Ireland.

There will be a ceremony celebrating Tim’s life at a later date.
