Susan F. Bell, 71, of Yulee passed away Sunday morning, July 25, 2021, at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach.
Mrs. Bell was born in Fernandina Beach and has resided in Yulee for the past 60 years. She owned a nail salon, “Carefree Nails”, for 12 years and was a Master Gardener certified through the University of Florida.
She was a faithful member of Blackrock Baptist Church and was a ladies Bible Study teacher as well as assisting with Youth Ministries.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband of 39 years, Don Bell; two sons, Colan Shiver (Rebecca) and Brian Shiver (Dana); a daughter, Amanda May (William); six grandchildren, Hannah, Brenna, Caden and Noah Shiver, and Calvin and Nathan May.
She was a devoted Christian and tremendous soul winner for Christ. She enjoyed God’s creation and gardening and cherished her husband and children.
Funeral services with be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at Blackrock Baptist Church with Pastor John Kasper officiating. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church Thursday.
