Steven Paul Sterner, 46, of Yulee, FL and formerly Norfolk, VA passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2022. Steven was born on July 15, 1976 to Linda and Steven L. Sterner in Norfolk, VA.
After graduating with his GED, Steven chose a career in HVAC. After many years of service with Green Run Heating and Cooling, Steven medically retired. Steven continued to find pride and joy using his trade knowledge in helping friends and family. After retirement, Steven found joy working at his favorite pool hall, Q-Master Billiards, where he welcomed and entertained patrons. When he wasn't working or playing in league, he would be found playing on Table 62.
In 2008, Steven met his wife Kimberly while playing in a travel pool league. In 2012, they married and he welcomed two beautiful children, Katelyn and Cameron, as his own. Steven, a loving husband, father, son, and friend, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing pool, Jeepin' on the rocks and sand, as well as camping and fishing. Steven loved hard and never knew a stranger. His warm smile, goofy nature, and loving spirit will live on in the hearts of many.
Steven was a member of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) and Middle Peninsula Jeep Association Inc (MPJAI).
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Steven L Sterner.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Kimberly Sterner, children Katelyn Goldsmith and Cameron Goldsmith (Aislinn), mother Linda McGhee, sister Heather Carpenter (Jason), and brother from another mother, Michael Gaonach.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." Rev 21:4
