Born in Berlin, Germany June 3,1938, she not only survived the Russian occupation, raised her nephew, met and married her husband, Hal, immigrated to the United States, traveled the globe, and raised 2 children on her own until her husband retired from the U.S. Special Forces in 1973, where they settled in Durham, NC.

Sigi and Hal moved to Fernandina Beach in 1990 after visiting a friend on the island.
She owned and ran the original Pampered Pooch grooming salon and On the Road Pet Sitting.
She loved Fernandina Beach, especially the small town vibe it held in the 1990s, Brett's Waterway Cafe, The Historic district, and Ft. Clinch.
She was a fierce individual in both her life and death. She loved animals, could show a tender side, and loved riding Harleys with her husband.
Sigi, was predeceased by her husband, Hal F. Faulk in 2019 and is survived by her son, Dale F. Faulk and her daughter, Diane L. Anderson, and son-in-law, Mark W. Anderson, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
