Sarah Kenney Obituary

 

 

Sarah Mae Kenney (Rehberg, Tedder) 82, is passed from this world into Eternal Peace on April 15th, 2020, following  several long years at Citadel, formally known as Quality Health Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Fernandina Beach Florida.

 

Preceded in death by her parents, Loise A. and Lucy Rehberg, her older sister Jean and three younger brothers, Andy, John and Gary. Two Husbands, Henry Richmond Tedder and Kevin Patrick kenney.

She is survived and missed by her children, Henry Richmond Tedder Jr. (Sharon), Pamela Mae Tedder-Cox (Bruce), sisters, Merrilou O’Brien, Vivian Moilenan, Dale Turknett, Lawanna Rehberg, Darlene Shouse (Ricky), one brother, Hulon Rehberg.

 

She served honorably in the United States Air Force, stationed at McGuire A.F.B. New Jersey, as well as the Florida Air National Guard, of Jacksonville, Florida.

 

Sarah was a factory worker first, at the age of 15. She worked at King Edward Cigar Factory. In the middle sixties at Anchor Hawking Glass then managed more than 22 years at Maxwell House Coffee Plant, all of Jacksonville, Florida.

 

She graduated from Jones Business College in 1974 earning a Bachelor's in Business. She then went on to graduate from the North East Florida Criminal Justice Training and Education Center in 1975.

 

She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day saints and a member of the LDS Relief Society, although unable to participate for many years. She loved reading and gardened with a green thumb, she loved her pets.  A true Patriot, she loved God, Family and Country. She will be missed.

 

 A celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced at a later date. In lieu: of Flowers, Please make a donation to your local Hospice Organization.
