Ron "Pops" Nichols
Obituary
Ron “Pop” Nichols, 76, passed away Sunday morning, March 5, 2023 at his Yulee residence.
Mr. Nichols was born February 5, 1947, in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Yulee in 1972. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville.
Memberships have included Loyal Order of the Moose, Lions Club and a Free Masons.
He is survived by two sons, Dave “Nick” Nichols of Yulee, FL and Chris Bramstedt, also of Yulee; a daughter Jeanie Armstrong (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL; a brother Walter “Lucky” Nichols (Diana); three sisters, Evelyn and Blaine Wolfe, Lydia and Danny Stafford, Barbara and John Hurley, four grandchildren, Jonathan Vangorder, Amber Dickerson, Mandy Nichols and William Bramstedt and two great grandchildren.
Pop loved to fish and was good at it. He also loved raising animals and gardening.
There will be a graveside ceremony at Green Pine Cemetery. A date and time has not yet been established. Please check back for day and time.
