In Loving Memory of Ronald Ellis Whiddon

August 3, 1964 – September 30, 2025

Ronald Ellis Whiddon went to be with Christ on September 30, 2025, at the age of 61. He was a devoted brother and friend whose life was a testament to faith, kindness, and love.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Ron loved the Lord. He was known for his commitment to his family and faith. Ron worked as a Program Director for WQIK and at the Ritz Carleton on Amelia Island.  He loved country music and reading about history.  He adored his beloved dog, Buddy.

He is survived by his sisters, Deborah (Whiddon) Curtis and Donna (Whiddon) Perry (Michael) and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Whit and Barbara Whiddon.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the Fernandina Beach Church of Christ, beginning at 2:00 pm. All who knew and loved Ron are invited to attend and honor his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, in Ron’s name.
