Rhonda Meeks

Rhonda Meeks, 81, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away Sunday evening July 16, 2023.

Mrs. Meeks was born January 24, 1942, in La Fayette, AL and moved to Fernandina Beach 3 years ago from Canton, GA.

She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Lala Ratliff and by a son in law, Ricky Kelley.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Otis Meeks, of Fernandina Beach, FL; a daughter Michelle Kelley of Canton, GA; a son Mark Meeks and daughter-in-law Jennifer Meeks of Fernandina Beach, FL; and three grandchildren, Taylor Meeks, Johnathon Kelley and Olivia Kelley.

Mrs. Meeks loved her flower gardens.  She was a college music major and taught piano.  She also played piano, sang in her church choir, and often sang solos. 

There will be a celebration honoring her life at a later date in Conyers, GA.
