Obituary
Quintilio “Quinto” Landi, 91, passed away Monday morning, March 6, 2023, at his Yulee, FL residence.
Mr. Landi was born January 5, 1932 in San Cassiano, Italy and moved to Yulee three years ago from North Syracuse, New York. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He dedicated his entire working career to casket making. He was a master casket maker for Marsellus Casket Company of Syracuse, NY. During his career he made custom caskets for Jaqueline Kennedy Onasis, President and Mrs. Reagan, movie stars and many other notable people.
He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Gerda Landi and is survived by twosisters, Ledua and Meniccina residing in San Cassiano, Italy and by his nephew Lorenzo and his wife, Julia Bonacchi of Yulee, FL. Several other nieces and nephews in Italy, Belgium, and San Francisco.
Mr. Landi loved to travel and traveled to many destinations with his late wife, Gerda. He also enjoyed gardening. He would always have a huge garden and shared his vegetables with his neighbors.
He will be interred with his wife in Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse, NY.
