Peggy A. Wilder

Peggy A. Wilder, 70, of Fernandina Beach passed away November 7, 2024.

Ms. Wilder was born in Jacksonville, FL, one of eight children born to Lonnie and Virue Hersey.  She made her home in Fernandina Beach for the past 45 years and was of the Baptist Faith.

She retired from Nassau County where she was employed at the tax collector’s office and at the courthouse.

Peggy was blessed in life with one son, Tommy Clay (Leslie), and has four beautiful granddaughters and two great granddaughters. 

Peggy loved spending time with her family and working in the yard with her dog, Sadie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating.  Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
