Patricia “Patti” Page passed away on June 10, 2022 at Fernandina Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with schizophrenia. She was born to David and Betty Page on December 7, 1956. Patti attended Fernandina Beach High School and was a devoted Christian and faithful member of North 14th St Baptist Church. She loved writing poems and playing the piano. Patti enjoyed people and attended the NAMI Day DropIn Center for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Satterfield Page, nephew John-Curtis Page and special friend Jenny McClain. She is survived by her father, David P. Page, siblings David Page MD (Kim), Angela McClellan (John) and Jonathan Page (Moya). Patti also leaves behind nieces and nephews Crandall McClellan (Kristin), Page Thorne (Michael), Annie Page Barnhill (Austin), Laura Page and Katherine Page, as well as many cousins.
The family will hold a private graveside service at the Higginbotham family cemetery. They would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr Ed Tribuzio, the staff of Fernandina Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Community Hospice for the care that they gave to Patti. They would also like to thank Patti’s friends Rosa Brown, Jean Edge and Roy and Jeanette Kemp for the kindness they showed to her through the years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Nassau Alliance for the Mentally Ill in her memory.
