PHERO TRAN QUANG HAU

 PheroTran Quang Hau, 93, was called home by God Sunday, December 10, 2023 in Deltona, Florida.

He was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1990. He was a resident of Fernandina Beach before moving to Deltona a few months ago.

Mr. Tran was a Lt. Colonel in the Vietnam Republic Army.

He was predeceased by a son, Trung Tran and is survived by his wife of 71 years, Hue Thi Nguyen; eight children, Minh Tran, Khai Tran, Hang Tran, Cuc Tran, Truc Tran, Ha Tran, Huong Tran and Trang Dinh; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mr. Tran enjoyed spending time with his family and took very good care of them.  He was a very good cook and enjoyed watching movies and fishing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 202 North 4th Street, Fernandina Beach, with Father Bui, celebrant.  Interment will follow in Bosque Bello Cemetery.  The family will receive guests from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, at Green Pine Funeral Home.
