Nicole Rich Cordova

Nicole Rich Cordova, 28, of St. Marys, GA passed away Saturday morning, May 9, 2020, in Fernandina Beach, FL.  She was a long time member of the Ritz-Carlton Banquet family. Loved by all who crossed her path.  She worked hard her whole life with aspirations of becoming a General Manager one day. Her charity work is just one of the many ways she always went above and beyond to help all.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina Nicole volunteered her time to rebuild homes through Habitat for Humanity. Nicole was an inspiration to all not only for her generosity but her courage, she never gave in.

In March of 2019 Nicole was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. Through her diagnosis she was able to connect with many others going through the same.  She Inspired so many to never give up the fight and keep a bright outlook no matter what.  She lost her fight 14 months after diagnosis and is now at peace.  We love her dearly and the world is a little dimmer without her in it.

Nicole was born in Pontiac, MI, and moved to St. Marys four years ago from Cookville, TN.  In 2016 she met the love of her life and forever partner Christopher Cordova where they were  married on Amelia Island in 2019.

Nicole was predeceased by a sister, Roseanne Rich.

Survivors include her husband, Christopher Cordova, of St. Marys, GA; a step son, Nicolas Cordova of Kingsland, GA; sisters, Dallas McCarver (Norman) of Kingsland, GA, Rachel Benmeir (Roy) of Miami, FL; two brothers, Kris Kline of St Marys and Kurtis Kline of Kingsland; her father Gary Rich, her mothers Marilyn Bennett and Nancy Sparks followed by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery.
