Moreta Joyce Forbes

Moreta Joyce Forbes, daughter of the late Robert Jenkins Lee and Wessie Moreta Boyett was born July 29, 1941 in Savannah, Georgia.  She attended the public schools of Duval County and was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School.

She departed this life Saturday, October 11, 2025 at HCA Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

She is survived by her children:  Robert Forbes of Daytona Beach, FL, James (Shauna) Forbes of Yulee, FL and Samuel Forbes of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; brothers, Bud (Carolyn) Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL, Harry (Linda) Lee of Jacksonville, FL, Terry (Lynn) Lee of Jacksonville, FL, Richard (Sheryl) Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL, J. L. (Elaine) Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Stephen (Lori) Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL; a sister, Virginia Corbitt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
