Michelle "Mickey" Skipper

 Mrs Michelle Skipper (Mickey), 69, of Chester, Yulee FL passed peacefully on Friday, June 21 at her home. She is predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Skipper, the love of her life and her knight in shining armor as she called him.

 Michelle was a para professional in the Nassau County school system for many years. She took pride in her job and touched many kids’ lives. Many times throughout the years you could find her in the kitchen with papers and booklets she had brought home to help teachers. Always a true friend and wonderful coworker to many. A hard worker and tough cookie who worked tirelessly to help provide for her family. She loved her cats, raccoons and opossums that would visit her nightly. They brought her so much joy. She enjoyed watching the Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, Iowa State football, cutting her grass, Diet Dr. Pepper and dinner out with her friends and family. She dearly enjoyed being a Mom and Gamma. Those who knew her were blessed to know such a unique woman. She loved helping others and spent most of her life doing so.

She is survived by her sons, Shawn(Christy) Black, Billy(Terry) Skipper. Four grandkids Garrett(Ashlyn) Black, Coral(Damien) Harper, Brendan Black, Sophie Kluessner and three great grandchildren Crimsyn, Aspyn and Easton. She also leaves behind her sisters whom she loved with all her heart, many dear friends and family, wonderful nieces and nephews, a special cousin Stacey, her dear friend Ann and her three cats.

 In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Cats Angels in Fernandina at CATSANGELS.ORG (address) 709 S. 8th Street Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 or pass along some kindness in her memory. A private memorial was held in her honor.
