Mary Jo Williamson, a lifelong resident of Yulee, FL. Passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 80.
A devoted member of The River of Praise Worship Center, Mary’s life was a testament to her faith and her love for her family. She found immense joy in cooking, especially for Thanksgiving, when she would lovingly prepare a feast for her family and neighbors. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, always filled with the scent of delicious food and the sound of laughter.
Mary had a green thumb and found great pleasure in her garden, tending to her flowers and working in her yard. She also enjoyed fishing with her family.
She is now reunited with her husband, John Williamson; her parents, Pat and Dicie Crews (Sapp); her brothers, Avery Crews and Dewey Sapp; and her grandson, Trevor Holmes, who all preceded her in death.
Her legacy of love and family continues through her surviving children: her sons, Jamey Holmes (Mary Ann), Gary Holmes (Holly), Darryl Holmes (Vickie), Alan Williamson (Gai), Roger Williamson, and Bobby Williamson; and her daughters, Carla Quillen, Tina Alspaugh (Scott), and Tracy Williamson. She is also survived by her siblings, Roger Crews, Vernon Crews, Jimmy Crews, Bobby Crews, Shirley Tillis, Ruth Krauss, and Betty Pell, as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to celebrate Mary Jo's life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, at Hughes Cemetery in Yulee.
