Mary Anne Stevenson

Mary Anne Stevenson, 62, of Yulee passed away Thursday afternoon, June 8, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville.

She was born April 18, 1961, in Fernandina Beach and was a life-long resident of the area.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and a member of the Florida Gator Booster Club. She was a member of the 1979 graduating class of Fernandina Beach High School.

Mary Anne was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Adele Fiala and by a brother, Pat Fiala.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Bill Stevenson; a son, Brandon Stevenson (Marlee); daughter, Katie Stevenson (Jamie); two brothers, Mike Fiala (Teresa) and Frank Fiala; two sisters, Linda Howison and Claire Dukes; and four grandchildren, Hunter, Carson, Addison and Abbey.

She is also survived by her best friend and Gator Buddy, Deborah Bradley.

Mary Anne was a fun loving, happy, spiritual lady that only saw the bright side of life. During her fight against Leukemia she was a fighter 110% of the way. She lifted the staff at Baptist Jacksonville, her friends and family, all while she was fighting the fight. She fought so hard for her family, especially her precious grandchildren who were the light of her life.
