Joyce Buzzard Obituary

Joyce Buzzard, 79, went home to rejoice with the Lord on July 16,2022.

Mrs. Buzzard was the third child born to John & Vernetta Sullivan in Columbus Ohio November 2, 1942.

Later in1958 she married to love of her life, James H. Buzzard.

Together they raised six children: James (Helen) Buzzard, Julie (Don) Atcher, Jeffrey (Sue) Buzzard, Joe Buzzard, John Buzzard, Joy (Jack) Pearson.

In 1979 the family migrated to Jacksonville FL for work.

As the family grew, Mrs. Joyce welcomed 15 grandchildren: Shane, Jamie, Dakota, Courtney, Nathaniel, Joey, Stephanie, JJ, Shawn, Ashley, Sarah, Amy, Katie, JB, Chad and 26 great grandchildren & one sister Patricia .

Mrs. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Vernetta & John, siblings Jane & John, her loving husband James, son Joe and granddaughter, Samantha.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, at Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at Green Pine Funeral Home.
