Joseph "Eddie" Giampapa Obituary

Joseph Edward “Eddie” Giampapa, 78, of Yulee passed away Friday evening, December 11, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach.

Mr. Giampapa was born in Boston, MA and moved to Yulee in 2006 from Attleboro, MA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was an amazing hockey player and baseball player (catcher). Mr. Giampapa worked hard for his family and was extremely funny.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Giampapa in 2012.

Survivors include his son, Jay Giampapa of Yulee, FL; two daughters, Leslie Fuvich (Ron) of Connecticut and Donna Giampapa Lacourse of Yulee; and six grandchildren, Craig Lacourse, Taylor Lacourse, Alisa Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Samantha Bankson and Andrea Giampapa.

There will be a private family service.
