Jon Seaton Teller

John Seaton Teller, 75, passed away Tuesday morning, November 24, 2020 at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.

He was born June 28, 1945 in New Orleans, LA and moved to Nassau County 35 years ago from Charleston, SC.

He had an several interesting careers.  He had a degree in Accounting, was a Corporate Pilot, and was an Air Traffic Controller.  He worked in several airport Towers as a controller including the Jacksonville Airport.  After retiring from the Federal Aviation Administration he worked for RVA as a controller in the Cecil Field Tower. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

Mr. Teller loved people and was always willing to help those in need.  He loved his family and enjoyed large gatherings and parties.

He was predeceased by father and mother, Howard Scott Teller and Marion June Von Rosen Teller, and by a brother, Paul Teller.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Lohr Teller of Yulee, FL; his son,  David Seaton Teller (Mikayla) of Jacksonville, FL; his daughter, Frances M. Teller of Yulee; and a brother, Howard Scott Teller, Jr. of Charlotte, NC.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2800 south 14th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 11.
