John David "Jack" Morley Obituary

 

 

John David (Jack) Morley age 66, of Fernandina, FL, passed away on January 9, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. 

He leaves his loving wife, Cynthia (Cindy) of 42 years, his brother Steven (and wife Carole) of Mendon, MA and his sister Tracy (and husband Michael) of Cincinnati, OH. 

He was pre-deceased by his sister Valerie Morley Mesch, his mother Nancy Sheehan Morley and his father John Joseph Morley. 

Jack served as Senior Master Sergeant in the US Air Force for 22 years and was active during Vietnam and Desert Storm.  Since retirement, he was active in the Vietnam Veterans of America. Jack will be remembered for his love of sailing and the sea.  He will also be remembered for his intelligence, great sense of humor and fierce love and loyalty to family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

There will be a memorial service at 10:00AM (please arrive at 9:30) on February 19, 2020 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL with full military honors.
