John Rose Obituary

"It is with great sadness to announce the death of John C. Rose. John, a resident of Yulee, FL for the last 29 years, passed away surrounded by family and life-long friends. John lived a life that would have sent a lesser man to his grave decades earlier.

John was an avid poker player and gambler. John had been a proud member and Fellow of the Nassau Moose Lodge since 1994. To know John was to love him. To be offended by John, you knew he loved you. He was a friend to all and a King among men.

John is survived by his companions, Phylis Shell and Maggie of Yulee, Florida. Son, Travis and Kasey Rose of Bethlehem, Georgia. Daughter, Samantha and Jamie Rose of Oxford, Georgia. His brother, Dennis and Edna Rose. Grand-Fur Babies, Oakley, Duke, and Libby Rose.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 6:00pm at the Nassau County Moose Lodge."
