Janet Catherine Clark

Janet Catherine Clark, 82, passed away Monday evening, February 1, 2021 at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.  Mrs. Clark moved to Fernandina Beach three years ago from West Palm Beach, FL.  She was of the Lutheran Faith.

She graduated from the Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing in 1959 and had a love and passion for nursing and caring for people.  She worked in the nursing field for 30 years and was a cardiac care nurse.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Barry A. Clark; her son, Barry J. Clark; and daughter, Kimberly Clark, all of Fernandina Beach, FL.  Also surviving are her brother and sister in law, Russell “Butch” and Cathy Hoover of Hookstown, PA; sister and brother in law, Lois and Jon Petrie of Crawfordville, FL, and Molly, her beloved Maltese Terrier.

Mrs. Clark was a loving, devoted wife and mother.  She had beautiful blue eyes and a smile that would light up a room. She was a strong woman, kind, loving, optimistic and unselfishly giving. She was the best loving, nurturing mother to her children. Even though she had a busy career, she always put her husband and children first. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time tending to her horses, which she loved. She will be deeply missed but Heaven has another angel.

There will be a private family burial in Green Pine Cemetery.
