James Maxwell, Jr. Obituary

James E. Maxwell, Jr., 74, passed away November 4, 2021, at his Yulee, FL residence.

Mr. Maxwell was born in Brunswick, GA and moved to Yulee two years ago from Waycross, GA. He served his country with the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Maxwell retired from Hercules, Inc. in Brunswick, GA after 33 years.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah Maxwell, of Yulee, FL; four sons, Jay Maxwell of Carrabelle, FL, Jeffery Maxwell (Cynthia) of Brunswick, GA, Steven Maxwell (Aimee) of Waycross, GA and Matthew Maxwell (Angie) of Fernandina Beach, FL; a sister in law, Ann Maxwell; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mr. Maxwell loved his family and the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Private interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
