TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8, AT 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Jack F. Watson, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 25, 1945 in Baxley, Georgia to the late William E. and Cassie Lee Watson.

There are six brothers preceding Jack: Don, Delmus, David, Dewitt, Cotton, and Junior, along with his son Ricky, his stepson Rudy, and his stepdaughters Peggy and Selina.

Veteran of the Vietnam War, Jack served in the Army 1st Cavalry (aircav).

Wanda and Jack moved to Yulee in 1977, where they established a successful AC and electric company. They married in Folkston, Georgia on November 7, 1979.

Throughout his life, Jack enjoyed spending time with family and friends, scuba diving, motocross racing, dune buggy riding, woodworking, and karaoke.

Among his many qualities were humility, kindness, compassion, tenderness, thoughtfulness, dedication, and hard work. In every person he interacted with, he left a piece of himself.

He is survived by his wife Wanda, his son Jack (Kelly), his grandchildren Zackry and Charlotte Watson, Jason and Joshua Jones; a very close niece Hana, sister Mary, brother-in-law Joe, sisters-in-law Nancy Bennett (Chris), Shirley Poteat (JR), and Theresa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

We invite those whose lives Jack touched to Greenpine Funeral Home on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2024 at 5:30 to celebrate his life.
