Gracie Tate, 21, was called home to heaven Saturday morning, October 29, 2022 while surrounded by her loving family. Gracie had battled a terminal form of epilepsy for the past 14 years. She was the kindest, toughest, loving and most faithful young lady one could ever meet.
She was born December 13, 2000, in Fernandina Beach and was a life-long resident of the area and was a member of Hedges Baptist Church.
Gracie was predeceased by her mother, Angie Tate, who passed away unexpectedly just two years ago. She was also predeceased by her grandmother, Ann Mullen; and grandfather, Douglas Baty.
She is survived by her devoted father, David Tate; sisters, Kylie Dubose (Trevor), Bailey Tate and Josie Tate; her grandfather, Laurence Mullen; many aunts, uncles and other family, and her friends.
Gracie loved Jesus, horses and anyone she met. She was a Daddy’s girl and loved her family.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, at Green Pine Cemetery. Viewing will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Green Pine Funeral Home.
