Glenda Kohlenberger, 77, passed away Sunday evening, July 26, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach.
Glenda was born in Gadsden, AL and moved to Nassau County in 1978 from Jacksonville, FL. She was the owner and operator of Nassau Answering Service for many years.
Glenda loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She loved her dogs and they loved her.
She was predeceased by her husband, David Kohlenberger; her daughter, Joanna Cornet and a brother, Gary Smith.
Survivors include her three sons, Walter Kohlenberger (Michele Siprell), Jeffery Kohlenberger and Alan Kohlenberger; a brother Phillip Smith (Teena); sister, Deborah VanDerveen (Peter); sister in law, Barbara Smith; four grandchildren, Tabitha Scott, Christina Frederico, Brooke Siprell and Bailey Audett; five great grandchild, Gideon, Kenna, Kimber, Kaidyn and Coleman; and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
