Gary Johnson Obituary

Gary Lyle Johnson, 70, MCPO, U. S. Navy, ret., passed away October 28, 2021 in Fernandina Beach, FL.

He was born in Coshocton, OH and moved to Fernandina Beach in 1988. He retired from the U. S. Navy with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer after 26 years of service. He also retired from U. S. Civil Service.

He was predeceased by a son, Todd Allen Johnson, who passed away in 2011 and is survived by his wife of 49 years, Darla Johnson, of Fernandina Beach, FL; and a son, Lyle Gene Johnson (Justina) of Coral Springs, FL.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, at Green Pine Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by the U. S. Navy.
