Gail M. Lassiter

Gail M. Lassiter, 74, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away Friday, August 16, 2024.

She was born in Macon, GA and moved to Fernandina Beach eight years ago from Atlanta.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach.

Mrs. Lassiter retired from AT&T where she had a very successful career in management.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Lassiter, who passed away in 1994.

Survivors include her sons, Ray Lassiter and Joe Lassiter; her sister, Tricia Couey; and three grandchildren, Caroline, Abigail and Nolan Lassiter.

Mrs. Lassiter was a devoted mother and grandmother.  She loved church, reading, coffee, and Elvis.  She was a great cook; a great seamstress and enjoyed sewing.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, at Green Pine Cemetery with Pastor Zach Terry officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) or The National MS Society (www.nationalmssociety.org).
