Obituary

Frances K. Bokowy, 81, of Yulee, FL passed away Saturday afternoon, July 8, 2022.

Mrs. Bokowy was born August 1, 1941 in Chicago, IL and moved to Yulee, FL in 2002 from Frankfort, IL.

During her working career she was employed by Allis Chalmers, of Matteson, IL, Wyatt Company of Chicago, IL, and Century 21 Real Estate in Tinley Park, IL.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward S. Bokowy in 2004, and is survived by two sons, Chris Bokowy of Melbourne, FL and Jon Bokowy (Denise) of Frankfort, IL; two daughters, Kelly Parmer of Woodridge, IL and Kathleen Bahr (Bryan) of Yulee, FL; three sisters, Theresa Lindbloom of Trenton, NJ, Jenny Halter of Portage, MI and Rosie Pollner of Columbus, OH; a brother, Frank Horvath (Margaret) of Canton, IL; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Bokowy loved horse racing, playing lottery scratch-offs, and spending time with her grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21st in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home.
