Edwin Campbell, 69, of Yulee passed away Tuesday morning, August 10, 2021 at the Community Hospice Warner Center in Fernandina Beach.
Mr. Campbell was born in Augusta, GA and moved to Yulee three years ago from Jacksonville, FL. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Campbell was licensed to preach in 1975. He was also a paramedic with Century Ambulance Service.
Mr. Campbell was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Violet Campbell; a brother, Alan Campbell and a grandson, Jonah Schaedel.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Susan Campbell; four daughters, Aaron Stephens (Mike Schaedel), Melissa Kasper (John), Kimberly Brooks (Michael) and Amanda Tyson; a brother, Walt Campbell (Terry) and 14 grandchildren.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed playing guitar and singing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, at Blackrock Baptist Church with Pastor John Kasper officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church.
