Edna M. Lusk, 73, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at her sisters home in Jacksonville, FL at 1:18 PM.
Mrs. Lusk was born in Alma, GA and moved to Yulee 15 years ago from the Dinsmore area of Jacksonville. She was of the Episcopalian Faith. She was active with the Women of the Moose, Chapter 2355 and was a lifetime member of the VFW with her membership being at Post 7909.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Lyle Lusk, father David Troy Miller, mother Hazel Lee Miller and brother David Wayne Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Celesta “Jenny” Godbold of Yulee, FL; a sister and brother in law, Marsha and Bud Beville of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Daniel Ellis Godbold, Jr. and Dalton Troy Godbold; nieces and nephews and other loving family and dear friends.
Mrs. Lusk was a devoted mother and loving sister. She enjoyed being with family, camping and fishing. She volunteered to help with many benefits with the VFW and Moose and loved helping others. She never met a stranger and was always there for anyone who needed her.
There will be a graveside ceremony starting at 3:00pm Monday, February 8, at Green Pine Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Nassau County Animal Shelter.
