Donna Leigh Pollard

Donna Leigh Pollard, 74, passed away October 4, 2025, at her Yulee, FL residence.

Ms. Pollard was a native of Mongomery, AL, and moved to Yulee 10 years ago from Jacksonville, FL.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville where she taught Sunday School to the middle school group and sang in the choir. 

She was a member of the 1969 graduating class of Forrest High School and retired from the City of Jacksonville in 2015.

Ms. Pollard is survived by her son and daughter in law, Michael and Beth Gaskin; two sisters, Sharon Pollard and Pamela Pollard-Palmer; six grandchildren, Harmony Gaskin, Gabrielle Gaskin, Candice Gaskin, Taylor Contreras (Gus), Hannah Lawhon (Jake) and Cameron Lawhon; one great grandchild, Aidan Contreras; and many nieces and nephews.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, coloring and reading. She also enjoyed making dish cloths and Christmas Ornaments.

There will be a memorial service November 8, at First Baptist Church of Fernandina Beach.  The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m.  The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
