Daniel Mulvaney Obituary

 

 

Daniel M. Mulvaney, 55, passed away Tuesday morning, July 27, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Dan was born in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Jacksonville in 1989.  He was a member of The Church at Argyle where he assisted with youth and children’s ministries as well as leading adult life-groups.  He also served as an usher.

Dan was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was predeceased by his mother Joan Helget Mulvaney and by a brother, Patrick Mulvaney.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jean Mulvaney; son, Alex Mulvaney; his daughter, Sara Lourenco (Andrew); his father Ronald Mulvaney; mother in law, Judith Mulvihill;  brother, David Mulvaney (Beth); four sisters Tess Yates (Shawn), Sharon Kessenich (Chuck) Janet Mileur (Brent) and Susan King (nee Mulvaney); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Dan was also involved with youth baseball and coached for many years.  He was a devoted Christian, a loving husband and father, and a loyal friend to many.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, at The Church at Argyle, 6823 Argyle Forest Blvd. with Rev. Rick Painter officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the Church.  There will be a reception luncheon following the service.  Those attending are encouraged to wear masks. The service will be live-streamed by The Church at Argyle.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations be made to The Church at Argyle.
