Dan Dubberly, 91, passed away June 10, 2026, at his Yulee, FL residence.

He was born in Brunswick, GA and moved to Yulee 60 years ago from Jacksonville, FL.  He retired from Container Corporation of America.

Mr. Dubberly was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Dubberly; two sons, Bill Dubberly and Raymond Dubberly and a grandson, Daniel Dubberly.

He is survived by his wife, Joann Dubberly; son, Joe Dubberly; his daughter, Kathy Dubberly; seven grandchildren, Betty Jo, William, Billy Jo, Myra, Margaret, Renea and Michael, Kasen; 16 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Dubberly was an accomplished musician. He loved playing the banjo and several other instruments as well as singing.  He performed at the Woodbine Opry and other venues as well as church and the Senior Center.  He loved his family and friends and spending time with them.  He enjoyed traveling and talking with people.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating.  Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
