Cleon M. “Lee” Wallace, Jr., 93, of Jacksonville passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 13, 2021.
He was born on June 27, 1927 in Macon, Georgia and resided in Jacksonville for over 60 years.
Lee was dearly loved by his family, and was a kind and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He loved to travel and enjoyed many family vacations. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and later the Merchant Marines. He retired from Maxwell House Coffee and always enjoyed a good cup of coffee.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Madelyn and is survived by his four children, Nancy Shaw, Lee Wallace, Donna Banks and John Wallace; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
There will be a family ceremony at a time and date yet to be determined.
