Charles "Donnie" Davis

Charles "Donnie" Davis 83 of Yulee, FL formerly of Jacksonville, went to be with the Lord, November10 2019.

He is the son of deceased parents Charles & Ila Davis of Jacksonville FL, and a graduate of Andrew Jackson HS class of 55'. He served his country in the US Army He was a carpenter by trade and retired from Anheuser Busch. He was a member of Teamsters Union #947 and was an avid Florida Gator fan & member of theAlumni Assoc.

He was a good son, devoted husband & great Father & grandfather. A Christian that loved the Lord.  He was preceded in death by his son Charles David Davis & Grandson Charles "Rusty"Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Jane Davis, sister Mary Avchin, (Steve husband) & number of nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers Steve Avchin, George & Greg Morgan Thomas Peterson, John Fleming, Bob Euler.    

Viewing will be held Friday November 15,12:00-2:00pm prior of service at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home.  Elder James Blackwelder of Alabama will officiate and the eulogy will be given by Patriarch Joel Warner of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will follow in Green Pine Cemetery.
